Perth Nationals 2025

The Australian Athletics Championships were held in Perth from 5-13 April 2025. The championships cover open age events as well as junior events from Under 13 through to Under 20. The meet accrues Category A points for World Athletics Rankings in the open events and entry to the meet is open to athletes who better the qualifying standard set annually by Athletics Australia.

We had 13 club members competing at the Perth Nationals this year! Well done especially to Cameron Myers and Angus Hincksman who won their respective races. Well done too, to all who registered a personal best in their events, and to all who participated in the meet.

I had a great time representing the Weston Creek Athletics Club in Perth this year. By far the most fun and memorable Nationals yet, getting to cheer on my club mates and receiving their support in return. Super grateful for everything the club does for us athletes and very proud to represent Weston Creek. – Jaime Brennan
